Mission

To improve the lives and reduce the population of outdoor unowned cats (commonly known as community cats) through a trap, neuter, vaccinate, return program, with appropriate interventions for kittens born outside.

What we do

The Community Cat Alliance carries out Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) in the Cities of Winchester, Berryville, Boyce, and Frederick County. We receive requests on a weekly basis for assistance. If you, or anyone you know, is caring for outdoor cats and needs help, please fill out our Assistance Form.

What we DON’T do:

• Accept owner surrenders.

• Relocate outdoor cats (read why, here).

• Participate in trapping cats for euthanasia unless health conditions warrant the need.

• Participate in trapping cats for release to animal shelters.
